As you are aware, my circumstances are such that I can not volunteer
to help with this effort as much as I would like to do so.
When we started talking about this effort a while back, Russ Tullius
mentioned that he had some contact names. I think Steve Knolls had as good a
starting list as anyone I talked to about the former Group 44 team members.
There is also the issue here as to whether you are searching out just the
Triumph racers, or those from the later Jaguar years.
Based on limited email exchanges with some of the team members, I do
believe that the the level of interests among the former Group 44 team
members will depend on whether Bob Tullius is going to attend and what, if
any, events are planned regarding the Group 44 team.
There was at one time a person in Florida who was operating the Group
44 Registry that kept track of the team members and former cars. I would
suggest that you contact Bill Warner, since the person who was operating the
Registry help him with his Bill's two Group 44 cars. Another person who could
help with locating cars is Ted Schumacher.
Again, I apologize for not being able to help more with this, but I
simply do not have the time available.
