It was estimated that around 450 enthusiast Triumph cars were at the 1992 event.
Who knows what you call it... Car show???? or a conspiracy to initiate an oil
slick to contaminate the Ohio Valley!!!!! How many will show up this year is
anyone's guess. Were planning for the 600 figure. Triumph is the feature marque
for the weekend. Saturday features a British car show down. All the predominant
British marques will be there. Normally in flocks of under fifty.... on
Saturday we will be conducting a specific Triumph Fifty Year Commemorative Car
show. Awards will be presented three deep in the general range of classes.
Mid-Ohio will be awarding a Best Triumph of show award. Winners in the varied
classes will be entered in a "Show Down" with the other marques and additional
awards given. Sunday Mid-Ohio host a Concours that includes all makes of
cars. The track will be available both Saturday and Sunday during the lunch
break for Parade Laps to be lead by the Featured Marque TRIUMPH!!!!!!!! Most of
the details of the weekend were finalized this week and should be posted on the
varied web sites, and out to the newsletters next week.
