Since we're on the subject, does anyone have a rule of thumb or formula for
tire growth related to speed? Along with heat causing expansion of the air
inside, the increase in speed increases the diameter of the tire (like a
dragster's wrinkle wall slicks). Same with weight loading: braking moves the
weight loading forward, reducing the radius of the front tire.
