Yesterday (1/6/2003) I was out at PIR instructing for ASRA and I found out
that a camera crew had been on the roof of the suites above NASCAR Turn 1
testing out a new High Definition camera and captured the entire wreck of a
2000 Dodge Viper that I was riding in the passenger seat of during a
Student session (11/30/2002). I got a copy of the video and have put it on
my website. ASRA used the video file I made in todays (1/7/2003)
PowerPoint classroom session to help drum into their heads that they are
NOT to DOWNSHIFT while on the front straight. This video shows how fast
things can go wrong.

captures and the report I filed last month on the incident.
