The problem is that, around here at least, they tend to ticket
folks with visible smoke (this is a street car). So I'm
trying to minimize. I find it odd that if I accelerate
crisply from idle, I get smoke, but if I accelerate slowly
until about 2500 and then open up the throttle, I don't get
any at all. Well, not much.
I also have trouble with the #3 plug, where the PCV enters the manifold,
fouling black. So less oil through that system would be OK.
