...to which I can attest. When we tore down the first motor from my GT6 to
figure out why it wouldn't go anywhere, we discovered that someone had at some
point replaced the GT6 head with a TR6 head. It ran, but had compression in
the 6.2:1 neighborhood. Not a quick neighborhood...

A TR6 engine with a GT6 crank is a GT6 2 liter engine. If you left the TR6
pistons and head as they were you would have a dog. NO compression. RC
