here4s a true TRiumph nerd who likes to join

this is his "CV"

I am racing a 1963 Spitfire 4 in the Danish Historic Championship and have
done this since 2003. This championship runs to the rules of the FIA appendix
K, where very few modifications are allowed. Basically only the ones used in
period. This suits me fine, as I like my car's standard looks - and
furthermore, I am a budgetracer and don't want to spend loads of money on
performance modifications. The car runs the 1147 cc engine with a factory
Stage 2 8-port steel cylinderhead and a fairly mild cam. This gives about 80
hp at 6600 rpm from a very tractable engine. I enjoy the car very much and
also drive it on the street. This year I also compete in the Danish hillclimb
championship, which is open only to road registered cars. I am doing fairly
well in both series, and the car obviously enjoys it as much as I do It has
been perfectly reliable in 6 races. You can read more about my efforts on my
homepage www.triumphracing.net, and I hope you will link to it from your pages
as well.
On the road I used to drive a GT6 Mk2 (known as GT6+ in the USA), which have
been a bit around. I have enjoyed trips to the Netherlands, Belgium and Italy
in this car. I haven't driven it since 2001, as it is under restoration, but I
am really looking forward to get it back on the road in the spring of 2005.
