Dear FOT,
This fellow racer from the olden days has a nephew who is an Aeronautical
Engineer for NASA in Florida. He is studying for his PHD and has a question:
1) What type of alloy was used in a 1974 Datsun 260Z Lug Nuts? I could only
find a 1973 Datsun 260Z on the Internet.
2) What type of heat treating was used for these lug nuts?
You would think that his job would make him the most qualified to find this
information. I used to have to work with Material Certifications for Safety
Related Equipment quite often in the Nuclear Plants.
This is a long shot, but some of you people dig into all sorts of exotic
information.
