My Victory British quick ratio steering rack arrived today. It looks
good. The outer rods look to be a little beefier than stock, complete
with a machine "flat" out near the end, to make adjustments a lot easier
than the purely cylindrical stock ones. There are quite a number of
giveaways that this is not a "stock" item, so the purists may frown, but
with a little effort, much of those differences could be obscured by
switching some parts, like the rubber boots, with stock parts, etc. I
look forward to installing it, but I am waiting on new rack mounting
bushings that I just ordered from Ted Schumacher. (It is a street car,
so I didn't want it to be a solid mounting, but I wanted it to be
stiffer than stock.)
