You can not make a shoe box aerodynamic! It is a shoe box. Formula One
teams have found they reduce lap times more from HANDLING and BRAKING than
from more horsepower. Take a lesson from them and improve your cars handling
and braking first. Making a car lighter so that you have to add weight,
where you want it, the correct suspension modifications and brake up grades
will give you a faster lap time at almost any track than what little aero
changes you can make. We are not at full speed long enough to make a huge
difference in top end. With our limited horsepower; better acceleration out
of corners will give you better lap times and that would be more effected by
weight and braking and handling than an aero package. But above all,
remember to keep it dependable as you have to be able to finish the entire
race to have a chance to win. I look forward to meeting yall at the Mitty.
