According to Quaife, they do not require any special oil for their
units. They say that whatever you were using before the Quaife was
installed is OK with them. I know that there are yellow metal parts in
the carrier of the Spit Diff and that requires Something without
sulfites. However, since the Quaife replaces the original carrier and
does not have yellow metal, you can use GL5.
