The Pooper's (two of them-Denny Hatch's and Cameron Healey's), the Platypus
(Art Conner--Cameron's cousin)and Peyote were pitted together. Peyote did
pretty well on Sunday. I was gridded 14th because of my miss on Friday when
they figure out how fast you are, got up to seventh and finished ninth. Fast
company.
I spoke with Jim Hall on Sunday--found him wandering around by himself.
Shook his hand and got him to sign Peyote's old deck lid.

I guess all I can muster up is a handshake with a semi-famous guy. Last
night while reading my current issue of Autoweek, I came across an
article
about the famous Chapparal's of Jim Hall being featured at Monterey this
weekend. As I read further in the article, it was mentioned that there
would be a lot of American Specials at Monterey this weekend. It then
went
on to state the 3 P's would even be there, Peyote, Platypus, and Pooper.
I guess that means I know the owner of a famous car and probably shook
his
hand once or twice maybe even more.
Who is his PR person anyway?
