What I have done is to calculate the header pipe length. The travel
speed of the shock waves depending on the gas temperature and the
return waves hitting the outlet valves. With this datas I made a CAD
sketch to find out the optimal length for the revs where I need the
power. I overlayed the shock waves of all cylinders to have maximum
reflection when the outlet opens.
Unfortunately my technical sources are all in German.
