Hi All,

Would moving the TR6 motor rearward 1.5 inches make any difference to
to corner weights?

The TR6 motor clears the firewall by 1.5 inches, so a small modification
to the motor mounts, shortening the drive shaft and a bending the gear
lever slightly means this move could be accomplished without any
body work to the firewall. Of course, if you want to shorten the battery
tray, the motor could be moved rearward even further.

Is this worth trying? It is pretty nefarious and stealthy, and I would not
expect it to be picked up in tech.

PS Watched Steve Sargis's Spit hound the leading Porsche 914 in FP
at Mid Ohio. He and his car are FAST!

PPS Motor is in Rags. Spent the weekend cussing the tube headers,
starter and Weber manifold. Going to get this baby started over the
holidays.

PPPS Have a great holiday everyone!
