as I continue to clean out the garage:
I have an 8 port 1296/1500 spitfire cylinder head (515973). Fully
port/polished, sold to me as the work being done by BHP (Bob's Happy Ponies),
I can't substantiate that, however, there is markings on it from Dover
Cylinder Head and the following stamped into it "DC502" on the port side
and "32802" (small stamps) and "7618" large stamps on the water pump housing
side.
It was originally a 1.44" intake valve head, but was replace with 1.3" valves
and seats.
Originally was a 25cc head but was milled to just over 23cc.
It needs to have the 1.3" valves seats taken out and the 1.44" valves put back
in (porting was done for the 1.44" valves). After milling I ran the car for a
weekend and disassembled, it needs to have the combustion chambers work
freshened up as the milling took some of the "kastner" modifcation out, fairly
minor. It needs valve springs. exhaust seats need to be ground
$350 + shipping, I have the valves that came out of it available as well if
you want them...no extra charge (stock intakes and stainless exhaust, both
need 3 angle grinds).
