Oddly enough, I may be. I need to pick up the triumph parts I bought. I
doubt I'll have much time to hang out, but it's remotely possible.

April Alchemy

Alchemy: An imaginary art which aimed to transmute the baser metals into
gold.

Here's your chance to practice a bit of ancient alchemy this spring. On
Saturday, April 22, the BMCU will host a swap meet at Bailey's Service,
187
West 4800 South in Murray. Gather up all the, uh, fine treasures you
have
stashed away in various dark and dank locations and haul them down to
the
swap meet. With throngs of British car enthusiasts swarming about you'll
have no trouble selling those rusty, base metal artifacts for a golden
sum!

For those wishing to offer parts, show up around 9 am with your stash.
Space
will be available on a first come, first served basis. If the weather
cooperates there should be a fair amount of space outdoors, otherwise
we'll
have to squeeze folks into limited space inside Mike's shop. You'll need
to
bring your own tables, chairs and such. For BMCU members there will be
no
charge for space to sell your stuff, commercial vendors will be asked to
provide a $25 donation to the BMCU coffers.

Those folks wanting to just pick and choose from the fine array of rare
and
classic hardware offered can show up around 10 am or so. We expect the
festivities to carry on until 3 or 4 in the afternoon. If you work up a
bit
of an appetite drooling over that NOS backfire frobulator bracket
offered
only on the '54 model, John Perry at J Burger and the Hansens at Skool
Lunch
have generously offered to donate various victuals.

This should be a good time for all, a chance to make a great deal on
whatever you might need to get the car ready for summer. If things don't
go
well with the offering of your treasures, the dumpster out back will be
available.
