When I got my moldex crank they emphatically stated that if any repair needs
to be done to it they need to do it. they can build it back up to std spec
and reheat treat it making it virtually new. maybe I was mislead but it's
worth a call. Jeff

I have in my possession one Moldex crank, used very little but with
one throw that is toasted. I estimate that it will take about $250 to
grind it .020 to .030 and nitride it again.

Question for my esteemed peers: What do you think the market value
of that piece will be, after repair?
