Chuck;
              I was able to get a new one from Rimmer in England about 6 mo
ago. The good part was it was made oversize so I could file it for a perfect
fit in the block. Also could get it level where the pan gasket goes. Took
awhile with some careful filing but worth the effort.
TRF had some also but there's was loose in the block when I got it and the
wedges wouldn't even make it tight enough on the ends.

Does anyone happen to have a "Spare" sealing block for a 6 cylinder engine.
This is the part at the bottom front of the block that both the oil pan and
the timin chain cover screw into.  Made of aluminum and fine threads --
pretty well ruined mine.  Also, some time ago there was a thread about
someone perhaps making this part out of steel.  This part is non-obtainium
from the big 3.  Perhaps Ted S or some other company that does tear downs of
rusted hulks might have one?
