There are a number of really good throttle cables available out
there. The hot rod guys have some really good ones and Pegasus sells
good stuff. Personally I can't stand the Spitfire cables or bicycle
cables. The last aftermarket cable I installed was beautiful - proper
adjustments at the end, teflon lined, heavy cable, end terminations
that didn't rely on just tightening a screw against a wire, etc and
it didn't break the bank.
