Let's not candy coat it. Let's call a spade a spade. It is SCCA's fault as
they allow that sort of crap. If I wanted to enter a demolition derby I would
buy an old '70 something caddy and smash the hell out of other cars on a
track on Saturday night! Allowing this sort of contact/behavior adds nothing
to
racing and is just plain dangerous not to mention expensive. It is
indicative of a complete lack of discipline and self control as well as a
blatant
disregard for safety.

Ask yourself, why allow contact with production cars and not open wheel
cars? I think we all can figure the potential of that! Do we need to kill
someone and put club racing, as a whole, at risk before we do something about
it?

Ask the TR6 driver or any of the other cars run off the track that day
whether or not the current policy is adding any enjoyment to the sport. Ask
them
how much they enjoyed their racing experience that day.

Let the flames begin!
