Also, one of the drivers left his pit before they got the fuel hose
disconnected & took it with him!

Did anyone else happen to catch the French GP2 race yesterday?

I recorded it and started to watch it after work today.

The front row had teammates who both decided to execute a blocking maneuver
at the start (only in opposite directions) to keep anyone from going around
them and ended up taking each other out with no other cars involved. I was
so stunned that I almost missed another car going airborne and coming down
on top of the retaining wall on the car's right side just in front of the
driver.

The race was stopped and then restarted after the mess was cleaned off the
circuit. During pit stops one driver hit one of his pit crew members
knocking him down but apparently he will be ok. The driver who scaled the
wall is apparently ok but his car is broken severely.

Usually GP2 races tend to be bordering on boring, but certainly not this
one.

Cheers,

Joe C.
