FoT,
I'm starting the rebuild on another TR6 racing motor and I'm looking for a
little input as to which parts I should be using. I'll be running a CR of
about 11.5:1, have a KB cam and a stock crankshaft with Cambridge flywheel.
I'll be using the Lucas PI setup and will have a Tilton clutch.
I know I'll need to go to some better pistons than stock and will probably use
Venolia pistons.
Anybody got any suggestions on pistons and rods? Is there a connecting rod
from another manufacturer that will take the place of a TR6 rod that is
better?
