This brings back a few memories:
I was the last Detroit F-1 Grand Prix as a guest of Ferrari. (It's a long
story)
My son & I left the Hospitality Center at the RenCen and went to the pit
area. Newman was by himself on a scooter. Got a great picture, but didnt talk
to
him.
As part of the weekend, I got a private viewing of the new Ferrari being
prepared for US Emmission in Farmington Hills.
Son Mark also got a great photograph of one of the F-1 drivers. I believe it
was Senna. Mark was doing commercial grade photography at the time.
Mark also had a great photo op of Miss Detroit at the Hospitality Suite, but
chose to act like she wasnt there....
