Dry sumping would certainly solve the problem, but it's not allowed in one
of the classes I run.
I've only got a 4-5 second pressure drop, at least at Portland. The
pressure drops to the base pressure of the accusump which tells me it's
working, but that the pump suction is sucking air. I've solved the problem
by adding oil, but during the off season, I'd like to make some
improvements.
