Terry,
If you like the Spax shocks
the part you are looking for
is specially made by Spax for
BPNW.
It's the krypton part # G3072
The body length is 7". The
moss conversion shock for
standard springs has a body
length of 8.5". On the shorter
shock the extended length is
12.5" and the compressed
length is 16"
end to end. The factory
measures center of stud to
center of stud, not end to
end.

on a similar matter, can
someone give me the
open/closed lengths of the
shocks (or part numbers). I've
got some alloy brackets made
by Racetorations
in UK, but no shocks. They
wont provide any data, just
want to sell me
overly expensive shocks.
