This topic came up while installing the tranny in my race car. In short, I
converted a RHD late TR6 (CR1871) to LHD about 10 years ago. I have most
of the large pieces (dash, pedal box, accelerator pedal) and maybe a
couple of misc stuff. I know they didn't make too many late RHD PI TR6s...
A dude from somewhere in the US is prepping a car for export to NZ and is
looking at buying the stuff. In my usual charitable way, I suggested that
I'd let the stuff go "cheap". I'm rethinking that path.
SO, what's this stuff worth? Off list is probably better - I'll summarize
if I get any reasonable replies that are okay to share.
I had thought about restoring the tub to RHD and shipping the car off, but
it would be a fairly big deal to return the car to RHD and streetable at
this point (it's been a race car for 10 years)... but I bagged that idea a
long time ago. So I'll likely sell the bits.
