Being new to FOT (and to vintage racing), I want to say that you are all such
a
great group of folks and this was a very memorable event! To be part of
the
Kastner Cup Race and to meet so many great folks is something Angela and
I will
never forget.
In true form, Bob Kramer helped me with a set of the
"right plugs" which I think
enabled me to keep Ryan Murphy at bay (what a
race for us!). Although I am
always getting help from folks in RMVR (Jim G.,
Mark E., Jim R. and Dan F. to
name a few), Bob and I had just met and he was
willing to lend a helping hand in
between replacing a wheel cylinder or
replacing pads on his own car. Well
deserving of the recognition to say the
least!
And, I hope my wife Angela didn't bug Kas and others for too many
pictures and
autographs, but she certainly had fun being a vintage race car
gal. She loves
these old cars. Many thanks to Ken for taking her on a few
laps around the
track at lunch in his nice TR3 he had for sale at the track
(her favorite...glad
I left the checkbook at home!).
Angela also took quite
a few pictures that others may want. We will send these
out to folks off
list, but if there is repository for photos, let us know and we
will load
them there.
We can't wait for next year!
