  I contemplated this change on my TR3, but decided against it based on 
advice from one of the FoT.  When you compare the brake pads, you will 
notice the TR3 pad is significantly larger.  More pad means better 
stopping power.  I think that is more important than weight.  Besides, 
your conscience will feel better because you will be pure TR3.
