Your resident ChumpCar TR6 campaigners need a little advice. I'm guessing
most
of you have accusump or similar systems on your cars, but we aren't
allowed to
by the ChumpCar rules and budget restrictions. Among the races
we're running
this year are Rockingham and Charlotte Motor Speedway (road
course
configurations) where you spend a lot of time on the banking (it's
questionable
whether or not we will have the speed to actually make it UP the
banking, but at
least in principle we will...) and we're worried about oil
starvation. Any
ideas on pan baffling or some other solution, or are we
worried about nothing?
BTW, if any of you are interested in coming out to
watch and/or play with us
this year, our schedule is:
March 12-13
Rockingham, NC (7-hrs each day)
April 23 Charlotte, NC (14-hr)
June
18-19 Roebling Road (7-hrs each day)
July 30-31 VIR (24-hr)
September 3-5 National Chumpionship, Iowa Speedway, 25-hr, multiple track
configurations
September 24 Sebring (14-hr, full course)
October 8-9
Nelson Ledges, (25-hr 25-minutes)
We'd love to have any fellow FOT'ers out
there. Lacey (our TR6) is now proudly
sporting her FOT decals!
