Hi Guy's,

I think you're talking about a vacupan system (see below) these were popular

years ago.  They were outlawed long before I served on the CRB, as I 
remember it there were concerns about fires if the "one way" valves at the 
header collector were to fail.

You can get the same results with a dry sump system that will pull the 
crankcase into vacuum, without being tied to the exhaust system.

significantly reducing internal pressures. Breather of the unit attaches to 
valve cover and probe is inserted into header. Exhaust scavenging pulls 
pressure and blow- by out of motor. Complete kit including chrome breathers.

Not for use with street mufflers.
