Hi Mike,

there should be a bushing for the rack.

Cheers
Chris

Betreff: [Fot] TR4 steering issue

At my last 2 events the tech inspector noticed a clanking noise when shaking
the front passenger side wheel. He thought it was loose inner tie rod under
rubber boot.

I had just rebuilt them and am pretty sure that is not issue.

What I am hearing is steering shaft moving/hitting the rack on the passenger
side, almost as if a bushing is worn out in the rack. Moss Motors shows a
bushing, but when I took apart there isn't one nor is there room for one.

Is this a common problem? Any suggestions?

Thanks

Mike
