He was so far ahead off me that a better comparison would be how far I was
ahead of 3rd ....less than 10 points as I recall.

Surely the loss of a memorable part of my racing. I made several trips to TWS
with my road race bikes. One to remember was when I was in the lead in the
350cc class and a teenager named Freddy Spencer showed up and cleaned my
clock....to even show less respect for his elders. He continued to run WERA
events and I finished with the # 2 plate for the year!

This is just a reminder that your last opportunity to run at historic Texas
World Speedway is rapidly approaching. CVAR's last event will be the end of
Feb. In May, TWS becomes a master planned community. Come join the TxFOT
faithful and send TWS out with a bang.
For those north of the Red River, we can end up with absolutely gorgeous
weather in late Feb here.
