Been there, done that Mike. I dropped what was left of my trans and =
bellhousing onto the front straight at Pacific Raceways just before the =
turn=E2=80=94maxed out in top gear. Probably wasn=E2=80=99t a failure to =
properly torque the studs. I think the studs just don=E2=80=99t like =
that sustained vibration at 6800 RPM. The flywheel had four ARP studs =
and two dowels. I=E2=80=99ve gone to eight ARP studs.=20

are only good for 2 years!  Also checked the fire system bottle in the =
Lotus.  It was 20+ years old and filled with Halon.  Pegasus had an =
interchangeable bottle with the new stuff, so I ordered one.  Surprised =
when it arrived with only a 2 year certification, needs to be =
re-certified every 2 years!!
