I opened up the fuel cell in my =E2=80=9967 Morgan racer (hadn=E2=80=99t =
been raced since 1989) and found nothing but gray powder inside the =
bladder. I was told it DNF=E2=80=99d its last race =E2=80=9Csomething =
to do with the fuel pump=E2=80=9D (there were two). I don=E2=80=99t =
know how long it takes foam to turn to dust when it=E2=80=99s not soaked =
in fuel but it seems plausible that disintegrating foam might have been =
the cause of the DNF.
