I=E2=80=99ve only seen those cast bulges on a late model GT6 engine - I =
assume it=E2=80=99s because the blocks were interchangeable with the TR6 =
in later years, but am not sure.  Designed to clear the larger stroke of =
the TR6???  If this is the same as mine, the block is about 25 lb =
heavier than the earlier GT6 engine and I see no benefit to having it.  =
However, mine does not say Special on it.
