I'm assuming you mean 'anodizing' - oxidizing is easy, just let the 
parts sit somewhere.  They will oxidize, or rust, on their own.

It is possible to anodize aluminum at home, though it is not that 
simple.  Didn't Eastwood have a zinc or nickel plating kit available at 
one time?
