One last story. This from Chris McNicol, one of the stewards of Midwestern=
Council of Sports Car Clubs, which often provides race staff services for =
VSCDA, two of Bill=E2=80=99s =E2=80=9Chome=E2=80=9D clubs:
=E2=80=9CTerrible news. Bill was one of many characters that roamed the pad=
docks over the years. I will never forget stewarding at the VSCDA event a m=
illion years ago and I was out in the pavilion with Mr. Microphone probably=
waiting to make first call after lunch. Bill was on that Driver's committe=
e (or whatever it was called) at the time, so when he asked for the mic, di=
dn't think twice about it. I hand it to him and he proceeds to announce to =
everyone how they were giving out free breast exams in his paddock... He wi=
ll be missed.=E2=80=9D

I am heartbroken. Bill is one of my longest and best racing friends.
