St Charles, MO. was home to Pop Wilson and his son Denny Wilson. Denny was =
a Big time Triumph racer back in the day. He ran 3, 4, & 6 then BMW M1. Pop=
won the SCCA Mechanic award one year. I bought my TR 4 racer from Pop in 1=
980. The car has a list of previous owners and tracks including a run in th=
e 1968 Daytona 24hrs.
Side Note: As I retire this coming October the car will finally be complete=
d and I will return to Vintage racing with it again!
Second Side Note: I went to the Sebring 12 Hr Vintage race yesterday. Not o=
ne Triumph was racing, sad. I=E2=80=99ll change that next year!
