I talked to the seller about the car and he sent me a few more pictures. I h=
ave a soft spot in my brain for 250=E2=80=99s. He was very open and honest a=
bout it. It was built as an autocross car starting with a rust belt TR250. T=
he car was deemed too far gone to restore at that point in time decades ago.=
Frame was repaired with angle iron and patches. Most body panels have bondo=
style rust repairs most evident in the =E2=80=9Cone piece=E2=80=9D rear fen=
ders and apron. His assessment is that it isn=E2=80=99t worth trying to bro g=
it back as it would need a new frame and most panels. Although a dedicated a=
utocross car is a race car it is not a road racing car. If someone wanted to=
bring it back accepting the structural condition it=E2=80=99s a bargain sta=
rting point.=20
