This doesn=E2=80=99t answer your question at all as it=E2=80=99s the other w=
ay around, but I=E2=80=99d like to also hear if anybody has any thing to say=
on this topic when it comes to shipping to England.
Around Christmas, I went to the US post office to mail two vintage magazines=
as a gift from California to the guy in England that bought my triumph TR=
2 (TS805). It was packed in a flexible envelope. One was an old, =E2=80=9CC=
lassic Cars Magazine=E2=80=9D, the other a little thinner. So basically sta=
ndard sizes and not very heavy. The post office wanted nearly $55. I didn=E2=
=80=99t ship it, sadly.
It doesn=E2=80=99t make sense to me. You can order heavy widgets shipped fr=
om China for peanuts, but it costs $55 to ship a couple magazines to England=
.
