4:88's were very real back n the day - a fellow competitor had one in his =
car, a damn rocket out of the hole and at Blackhawk Farms (tight and twisty=

I used to have a 4:55 set, but it got sold at auction back in 2005.=C2=A0 I=
lost my job at the U, got behind on my storage rental, and the contents we=
re sold as a lot for like 300 bucks.=C2=A0 Not only the gearset, but a big =
TR Detroit locker, a Spitfire/GT6 Quaife unit, all my Weber airhorns, choke=
s and venturis, ( The box of brass bits with calibrated holes was home in m=
y garage ) a Ford 710? 1600 short block from a Lotus Europa, a couple of bi=
g TR overdrive transmissions, a D type Spit overdrive, a Spitfire parts car=
, and a load of various body panels, electrical parts, and so on.

Sigh.
