In response to the many requests for further information, the name of the
German meat pastry was "Fleishkuechen" which I guess must mean something like
"cooked meat". Glo, the owner of "Glo's Kitchen in Stanton, ND (701/745-3535)
told me that a family just down the road makes them up and will ship.

I neglected to mention that the names on some of the towns up here are
interesting indeed, though I wonder what the Chambers of Commerce are thinking
about. So far I've passed through "Adolph" and "Hermann". Somewhere on
tomorrow's
ride I'll be going through or near "Heil". I know that the war is over and
that the GDR are our allies, but perhaps they could consider more inviting
monikers?? I wonder how they open the town meetings in "Heil" and what kind of
uniforms the police wear.

Best--Michael
