There is a tool sold that is a spark plug with a whistle built it. You can
here it stop making sound at TDC. I don't know were to get it in Germany,
though. Maybe you could make something similar from an old spark plug.

List, can anybody tell me how to figure out the true TDC on an assembled
AH3000 engine when suspected that the mark on the fly wheel and the
corresponding timing mark on the timing chain cover don't reflect it
correctly?
