I have been reading many e-mails about paint lately and I tried for a
period of time to find the right color match by searching my bt-7 for an
accurate sample but never could find a decent sample. Using the healy
code from the restorers manual I went to my local body shop and the
owner cross matched this code to a original Dupont number for the paint
and he mixed a half gallon of one step for the frame and engine
compartment. No paint sample from the car of 40 plus year old paint
would have matched this color. I hope it is correct. I have the Dupont #
if any one is interested. I opted for the original style radiator straps
rather than hose clamps does any know how to install these things
