I have a Walbro pump that I use for Diesel transfer on my boat and I know
that it has an internal filter. Reportedly it entails dismantling of the pmp
to
access and clean the filter. But in any case, I would suggest checking if
there is a filter in your that may be partially plugged as it would probably
cause symptoms such as you describe.
