Ron,
Check eastwood for a good coating. I used some off the shelf stuff some
years ago and it turned yellow in no time. It did protect the metal, but
didn't look very good.

Is there any practical reason not to spray on a clear coating on my brake
lines? I have just finished cleaning up my original steel brake lines.
They
appear to be in good condition with no obvious pitting externally. Does
anyone ever coat these with a clear coating to help keep them looking nice?
Ron
