No one owns concours.  If you don't like the way somebody does it, start
your own movement or ignore it all together.  The company exists no more
except as a symbol.  There isn't anyone with any legal authority to proclaim
anything "correct" or not.  There are as many different definitions of
what's concours as there are lawyers in D.C.  The US seems to adhere to an
"originality" criterion, a target with enough motion in it to make couple of
decades of effort still not definitive in every respect.  Some Eroupean
Concours standards allow and even encourage individualism in the use of the
car as expression of self.  Maybe they have a wider coach building tradition
than we do here.  Whatever you want to do, chase the elusive "showroom
condition" template or make the car whatever you want, DMH did it both ways.
