Thanks for all the advice folks. I kept checking all connections over and
over.
I found out my CHEAP-O jumper cables were not sending current! GEEZE!
Not sure what happened there. The look new. They worked. Then they did not
work. I checked them with the votlage meter.Nothing. Then I rubbed them
together, no spark. I was connected to the hot side of the solenoid and
grounded to the frame. I got out my heavy duty jumper cables and WHAM-O! She
fired up.
I when out and bought a new battery and connectors and drove her around
tonight in the cold. The vibration is gone also with the original flywheel
back in. Yeah!
DON"T BUY CHEAP TOOLS. I also had the head of a deadblow hammer come off
tonight while removing a knock off. I bought that thing as a back up from a
cheap tool store to take on the road. I got two whacks out of it. Only $5.
How can I go wrong?
I'll be driving the Healey all weekend.
