Dear Patton

You can go to our UK 100 Register WEB site direct at

        http://www.jharper.demon.co.uk/100reg1.htm

Regarding Worldwide co-operation, and not just restricted to the North
Atlantic, we believe that we have the most comprehensive 100 Register
now in existence. An article about this appeared in a recent Healey
Marque. I could add this to our WEB site if anybody has not seen it.

We have a great deal of interchange with North American Clubs and their
members and continually strive to achieve just a single register. We
have come close over the last few years but a complete solution is still
to be achieved. Naturally Austin- Healey enthusiasts throughout the
world wish to run their own registers because this is of great
satisfaction and interest. There is also the need to retain a strong
National interest and a balance has to be struck between National and
International interests.

Our proposal is that the UK should be the centre of a Worldwide 100
Register but not, I hasten to add, because we wish to 'take over the
world'. It is solely because we appear to have the largest and longest
established base on which to further develop what we already have.

It might also count that this is where the cars came from in the first
place.

By the way Bic Healey fully supports any move to put Registers on a
Worldwide footing.

If we all keep trying we should get there eventually.

All the best
