Can someone please advise the distance from the inner door brace (that
holds the wood piece) to the door skin? Also, at what point is the
door crown located (furthest point from the door skin to the bottom of
the inner brace)? This is front to back, not top to bottom

So, this, I think, is what I would like to know:

1) Distance from the front and/or rear door faces (inside the door) to
the point where the door skin is furthest away from the inside brace on
the bottom of the brace.

and

2) Distance from the door skin to the door brace at the point
determined in 1 above.

3) If possible, I would also like to get door skin to brace distances
at a couple of other points, say every 4" to determine the correct curvature

This assumes that the inside brace is flat.

I have a '59 BN-7, both doors are banged up, so I have no reference.
Anybody have a good door apart?

Thank you in advance.
